AFO Sole


Create an AFO sole model in the selected foot model.

Mesh Model

Select the target mesh model (Foot Model with Skeleton).
When the orthosis insole function is executed, the sole profile is automatically added as based the reference point of the skeleton of the foot model.

Sole Profile Type

Select the type of a forefoot shape for AFO Sole.
AFO Sole profile shapes will be added.

Sole Profile Size

Foot length is automatically measured on the scan model.
You can adjust the size and width of the sole profile.
In adapting the length of the AFO sole, it changes to the appropriate sole width for the length of the sole.

Adjust the sole profile to fit the foot size.

Create Sole Profile Model

Create a sole profile model to create a flat sole of AFO.
The sole profile model with a thickness creates the afo flat sole model through the boolean operators with the AFO thickness model.
 
In checking the create sole profile model check box, it makes the AFO sole profile 3D model on the bottom of the foot.

Create Sole Curve on Dummy Model

6. Create Sole Curve on Dummy Model
Check whether to create a Sole curve in the newly created dummy model.
 
You can use the Sole curve created in the sole profile model by copying it to the dummy model.

Run

Run to generate the AFO sole dummy model.
 
The AFO sole dummy models are created by adding subscripts such as _S0, _S1, etc. to the selected model name and displayed in the project tree.
 
In unchecking the create sole profile model check box, it doed not make the AFO sole profile 3D model on the bottom of the foot.
