Foot Skeleton

Generate skeleton that fit to mesh model.
The Skeleton feature is only available on foot models.
A model that scans both feet simultaneously creates a skeleton in one operation and separates the left and right foot models.

Mesh Model

1. Mesh Model
Select a target mesh model.

2

Type

2. Type
Select whether the target mesh model is left or right foot.
Skeleton generated foot models automatically recognize left and right feet.

3

Auto Generation

3. Auto Generation

The skeleton points are automatically registered after verifying the tibia landmark by clicking "Auto generation" button.
The auto-generation function of the skeleton can operate only when the scanned foot model is placed almost on the X-Y plane and aligned a foot length in the Y-axis direction.
The Transform tool in Mesh Edit can run the alignment of the scan foot model.

After the skeleton points are correctly registered, the skeleton axis is created by clicking the 'Create' button.

Once the skeleton has been created, check the state of the skeleton axis in transparent mode.

To modify the skeleton point of the saved skeleton axis, move the skeleton point by clicking the left mouse button and modify it.
When moved, it is converted to edit mode and the Create button is activated.

Some of the automatically generated Skeleton Points may be out of position. Check out the K and L points in particular.
Adjust to the correct point and create the skeleton.
If it is determined that the foot alignment and the calculated values of rearfoot angle are different, it can adjust the G point to position the medial close from the A point of the heel center on the K-G axis line.

Cancel the existing skeleton points with Reset and set the skeleton point again with Set or Auto generation.

6

Create

Create a skeleton axis using the skeleton points specified on the target mesh model.
Foot Model is automatically aligned on the XY plane by Foot Axis.

Adjust Malleolus points

7. Adjust Malleolus points
After automatically generating skeleton points, you can adjust the malleolus points that can identify as miscalculated.
